My father, Edward Samuel Girdlestone (known to many in 9 Sqn as Jackie), passed away following a heart attack on 30 July 2012. He left behind his wife, Sally Wright, three sons, Paul, Kevin & James and grandchildren Sydney, Robyn, Ronnie, Frankie, Teddy and Suzie.
