Dennis Barker
Dennis Barker passed away on 10th November 2007. Stan Head first met Dennis when he joined 286 Field Coy RE while Dennis was serving as a Cpl Chief Clerk. Dennis left 286 Coy in Normandy in June 1944 to join HQRE as the chief clerk as a casualty replacement. It is understood that he was a member of the TA in the Company formed by Col Wills in Bedford.
