Redesigned site now live!
Site development going well, only Roll of Honour content and photos to add. Additional digitising of Journal content will be carried out ASAP, it's not a difficult operation but it is a time consuming one. Watch this page for further updates

Following the vote in favour of merging the AEA with the REA(A) to form 'The AEA a National branch of the REA' the executive committee is now working on the Merger.  Monthly zoom meetings to track progress are in place. The aim is to have merger complete by the end of the AGM Weekend in October 2025. This letter prepared by the national executive committee will give you an update of key strands of work currently in progress.

Our Shop Manager has attended an intial meeting with key personnel from 23 Para Engr Regt, to discuss bringing their PRI shop online. We will keep you posted on progress

This site is a new design project, which has a basic structure but is still very much in development. Look out for updates via this page or on the AEA National Facebook Group. The aim is to create a "responsive" site, that is to say it will automatically adapt to the device it is viewed on, whether it's a large, high res monitor, a tablet or a smartphone

Welfare

10th February 2025
Added current site Welfare content to new site. This content will need to be reviewed to consider if the REA are able to offer more from a welfare point of view than the AEA were able to, this may not be in place until the merger process is completed, target time for that is at the AGM in October 2025
