Les (Geordie) Barker
Les served with 9 Independent Parachute Sqn RE, prior to volunteering for 22 SAS. Les was one of the SAS soldiers involved in ending the Iranian Embassy siege
He died on 21st November 1981 due to a parachute malfunction during a training exercise in Oman.
