Dave Kitcher

Dave, former SSM 9 Indep Para Sqn in 1974, passed away on the 2nd June 2010. The funeral service was held on 17th June in Dorset. The AEA was represented and the current SSM and two serving members of 9 Para Sqn also attended. The attendance of the 9 Para Sqn personnel was very much appreciated by all at the service as they all knew of the time pressures the present Sqn members are under, and to cross the country to attend is worthy of mention. Dave was laid to rest on a perfect summer day in the stunning Dorset village where he was born.
