Roll of Honour

After 92 years of being variously an art teacher, part-time soldier and farmer, Stanley has finally bowed out of a life filled with love for his family and a myriad of friends, last Monday on 26th August 2019.

Lt Col (Retd) Stanley Peake was formerly OC 300 Para Engr Sqn (TA). Members of the Scotland branch were in attendance for his final departure.

Stanley will forever be remembered for his endless hospitality and reputation for adventures small and large, many of them retold, to the amusement of all, over a drink, cigarette and a good meal at Wairdlaw Farm, the labour of his long retirement years with Christa.
